[align=justify]Shawn Smith, also known as Tazmaniac04020, as many of you already know, was one of our founders here at The Mod Squad. Unfortunately, he was lost to all of us on May 12, 2013 in a tragic motorcycle accident.

After having lost our friend and buddy, we have decided to hold a special event in his honor, using one of the mods he was a big part of at TMS...the NR2k3ToHeat mod.

While this is just a small event to honor him right now, there are plans being put in place to honor him with a yearly race in Nascar Heat at his home track, Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, which is a track we are in the process of doing. And come January, near his birthday, we will put on a proper memorial race to honor our friend and founder, Shawn.[/align]
